Oh Wonderful Year!

I think since there are only about 26 days left in this year it seems appropriate to tell some accomplishments and memories about my family that I will hold dear.

Dustin:
Continues to go to class to become a teacher. I am so pround of my wonderful husband for his bravery to go back to college after several years of being out. One and a half more years to go and my husband will be an educated man.

Austin:
Austin makes my heart glad every night. He is the most tender-hearted boy I know. I love that he can climb, I love that he is obsessed with legos and loves playing any kind of nintendo. I love that he wants extra good night hugs! He is so much like me as a kid. I even love that he gets embarrassed about public display of affection even though it makes me a little sad that he is growing up. He turned the big one-oh. Two digits. I can't beleive it.

Ashlynn:
Ashlynn is growing up so fast. I can't beleive how much she has grown in just the few months since she started kindergarten. She has learned to read and write. She wants to read EVERYTHING! She has grown into a wonderful young girl. She has changed from being the baby of the family to the middle child. Me being the middle child, I can relate to her need for attention. She has really began coming out of her shell this year. She is an amazing singer for a five year old and I love that about her. I can hardly believe how much more grown-up she has become in just one short year.

Jackson:
My precious baby. He entered the world this year in just such an exciting manner. Everything he does exudes youngest child. He is as spoiled as any baby could possible be, but I love him every second of the day. One grin can make me forget that he wakes me up at least three times a night to eat. One laugh will make me forget that he wants to be held and loved on every second he is awake.

And last of all, myself:
I have had a busy year to say the least. I earned my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, coached my first year of cross country, taught my first classes as an instructor to other teachers, had a baby in an elevator. My life has been a like a crazy whirl-wind. Dustin says I make all these things happen around me, but I swear, these things just come to me. I don't think I could have made it without my husband keeping me on the "rational" side of life. He says he doesn't know how such a completely rational person can be married to such an irrational one. I love my irrational life. It is busy, but it is wonderful.
