Go Greyhounds!!

Austin's first football game was today! I am so happy he got a little playing time! His team won and I will never forget the cocky look on his face when he came back to the car after the game! It was priceless. I wish I had a picture of him beaming after the game! They won 12 to 0! Here are some pictures of him.

Baby Update

Jackson had his first checkup yesterday. He weighs a whopping 9 lbs and 4oz. If he cooked as long as Ashlynn did this is about how much he would have weighed when he was born since she was overdue! He checked out fine. Doctor said everything looked good.

It's amazing all the bodily functions that we think are disgusting when it comes to adults are so darn cute when it comes to babies! Pooing, burping, sneezing, and especially snoring! I love to hear Jackson snore at night. That means he is SLEEPING! Man, I feel bad for those mammas that have fussy babies at night. He kept us up for several hours night before last fussing and crying. Last night he "slept like a baby". I hope he chooses to sleep tonight again because I think a person could go crazy with no sleep! :)

Siblings: I have to say that Austin and Ashlynn are taking the new addition quite well. Austin loves on him every second that he can. He wants to hold and snuggle with him as much as possible. While Ashlynn isn't quite as enthused about someone taking her mamma's attention from her, she is doing well. I have been making sure to give her some just her time each day and she seems to be coming around.
