Catching the Uncatchable

I have been trying to catch Jackson in the act of a smile for a few days now and every time the little rascal saw the camera he quit smiling. He is such a doll! I caught him on camera several times today. Here's a little bit of happyness for you! I LOVE IT!

Gettin' Ready for Halloween

We have started getting ready for Halloween dressing up. This is usually a big deal for the kids to decide what they are going to dress up as! Austin says he's getting too old to go trick-or-treating so he didn't want to get a costume this year. I figure he will go dressed as a football player!!! So, here he is hamming it up with a pumpkin!

Here is Jackson in his "skeleton" costume! Isn't he going to be the cutest little skeleton ever???

Ashlynn is just too excited to be Tinker Bell this year! She has glittery spray to go in her hair too. This is all she has talked about for days!!

Marbles = Incredible Pizza

The kids each have a marble jar we use for behavior and chores (aka: bribery). They get a marble for each job and sometimes if they use their manners without being told to. They both had full jars so we traded each marble for a quarter. They both ended up with around twenty bucks so we met Amber and Andy at Incredible Pizza. As you can see, the kids had a blast! They were so excited! Jackson could hardly rouse himself awake long enough to enjoy the games and fun, but Ashlynn and Austin had enough to make up for it.

I absolutely love this picture of Austin! It cracks me up every time I see it!

Contests and Such

Things have been super busy lately so I haven't uploaded any new pictures of the kiddos in a while. Ashlynn has been busy with school. She is trying to read EVERYTHING! It is so exciting when they first start to read. She is doing great though! We tried to enter her into a pageant but got there late. They let her walk out anyways! Isn't she beautiful???

Austin's been busy playing football and trying not to get into trouble. You know, the typical little boy trouble. He entered a lego contest where he had to build his own bad guy. He's hoping to win the grand prize of $100 gift certificate to buy more legos so he asks me every day if he has any mail. I might have to pretend he won!! He is so cute! Here he is with his creation.

Jackson is getting bigger by the day. I go back to work full time next week and I am sure glad I have a babysitter that doesn't mind holding him because he is definately already spoiled at almost 6 weeks! I bet he weighs over 12 lbs now. He's a little chunk! Here are a few cute pictures of my cute lil' man!
