Update

I had a doctor's appointment today to check on baby Sanders (still no name). I got "checked" and not much progress. Thin but not dialated... if you know what that means. :) Dustin ratted me out to the doctor about traveling. He said it was pushing it to travel that close to the due date!!! He told Dustin he better bring a shoestring and some scissors! He said he was just joking but I'm not so sure he was. He even made a copy of my pregnancy medical records to take with us just in case we needed to go to another hospital along the way. He told Dustin to google some hospitals along the route we are taking!!! HA HA! I really do hope the baby decides to come before or after the trip though because I can just imagine how dramatic that will be!

On another note, we took Austin for a vision test today. At the end of the school year he was having a difficult time seeing the board. He did end up getting some glasses. He looks adorable in them. They will take about a week to get in and I'll post a picture of him once we get them!

Ashlynn's next rodeo is this Saturday! She is excited to get to ride the sheep again!

Austin's attempt at sleeping in his tree house! He was so excited. Ashlynn kept begging to sleep in there too and Austin kept telling her, "No girls allowed sis!" TOO CUTE!

Ashlynn's all dressed up to go listen to her daddy play music in Mountain Home. They were having a street dance and she had to dress up. You can't see it but her hair is in a bun in the back... that was her request. She said she didn't want to get too hot with all that dancing!! :)

Here is the baby bedding I ordered! Our crib is white though. I can't wait to get everything together! I am just so ready to have everything in order! :)

Family Update

It has been forever since I have posted! I do vow to do better. Things here have been crazy busy. We are remodeling our bathroom. I have been teaching at a kid's college for last week and this. I was hoping this blog would be my picture documentary of the kids and my wonderful life and I vow to do better!

Bathroom project: We have totally gutted the bathroom and are half back together. The new jet tub is in. We have a toilet! (You never know how much you love toilets until you don't have one for a few days!) I laid our tile myself and I have to say that it looks awesome! I will post pictures of the tile once I get the shower tiled.... waiting on Dustin. I think that song "Waiting on a woman is our theme song except I am waiting on a man.... :) I think I am being quite patient though now that we have the necessaries back!

The kiddos have been good. Austin is wishing it were time to get back to school but I can definitely say that I am not ready yet. Austin tried sleeping in his tree house! Dustin made him come in early though because he was worried about him! It was sweet. Ashlynn is just enjoying being home.

We got the crib set up yesterday! That is a huge weight off my chest. It looks cute. I will post pictures this week of it. I have ordered a cute bedding set… more waiting! Oh how God wants me to learn patience! J I also ordered a cute mobile and diaper bag. I think I am about ready and sick of being pregnant! I am getting so excited. I just wish I didn’t have to worry about work.

We went to another rodeo since the last blog. This time Ashlynn and Austin rode sheep! They had a blast! I got some cute pictures of it.

Silver Dollar City

After the Reunion, we went to Silver Dollar City! The kids had a blast! They were so dissapointed when it was time to come home.

Even though I couldn't ride too many rides, we had a lot of fun!

Family Reunion

I'm finally getting around to putting up the pictures from my family reunion. Here is a picture of me... of course I look like I am busting out of my shirt!

At the reunion, Ashlynn entered into the talent contest and won ten bucks! Score for Ashlynn! She was so excited to have won money. She was pretty good if I say so myself.
